Sad News

I found out last night that the woman who kept me as an infant/child and who kept Noah that year that I worked has stage 4 ovarian cancer. Needless to say I am devastated. She is such a loving and kind woman. She has never had a harsh word, which is amazing considering she's been keeping children for over 30 years in her home. She has such a sweet spirit and would do anything for anyone.

I can only imagine what her children are feeling right now. Please keep this family in your prayers. Please pray, if it is God's will, for a full recovery. If that is not His will, please pray that peace and comfort would come over this family.

More soon-

School's in!

Well- today is the first day of first grade. Noah was pretty excited but a little nervous too. He got to wear some of his new clothes and his new tennis shoes- I'll get a picture of those and post those later. He had a big breakfast but admitted he was too nervous to eat most of it- bless his heart!

Here are some pictures waiting for the bus.

For your viewing pleasure

For those of you that don't know- last Sunday some schmoe in Columbus broke into Lud's truck. He is obviously a professional- he cased Lud's truck - he drives right up to the truck as if he knows what is in there, he has no front license plate, he backs out of the parking lot as not to show is back plate.

So, if he looks familiar please give the Columbus police a call. ;-)

Summer is almost gone...

Well, we spent the day at the Kidd family reunion- as some of you may know that is my maiden name. We had a nice turn out this year- about 30 of us!

Noah and Luke got their teacher assignments for the new school year. Luke will in Mrs. Western's pre-school class. Noah will be in Mrs. Allen's first grade class.

We have had a wonderful summer and I have bittersweet emotions- I don't want the summer to end but I am looking forward to the structure and new things the fall will bring.

I'll hopefully have more pictures soon.

Love- C

The Nebulizer is Back

Well, I had to pull the nebulizer off of the top shelf and dust it off. Noah has had some coughing and repertory junk so the doctor decided we start doing Albuterol again. He was hesitant to call it asthma but it may turn into it. :-( Thankfully, he is not fighting the treatments like he did before. I have a feeling he thinks he is pretty cool. You can't see it in the picture but there is big smile behind the mask. ;-)
